1:30 to 3:30 pm
New Mexico Folk Dance for Seniors will feature four weeks of traditional New Mexican folk dance lessons, including the traditional La Marcha dance, taught by instructor Lucy Salazar. Classes run for four consecutive Wednesdays in October and November, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. On the day of the final class, live music will be provided by La Rondalla for a fun-filled dance fiesta! No previous dance experience necessary.
Free Community Event. This series is part of the NHCC’s Siempre Creativo program, which provides a free multidisciplinary arts program for seniors. Siempre Creativo is generously supported by the United Way DEI Fund.
