Join NHCC at Street Food Institute (1411 4th St SW) for demonstration-based cooking classes, each focused on one region’s most iconic, approachable dishes. Each class covers two recipes, technique demonstrations and tasting. On June 17, we will be exploring the cuisine of Southern Mexico (Yucatán) with a pair of recipes.
· Cochinita pibil tacos- pickled red onion & habanero escabeche, black bean puree.
· Fresh agua de Jamaica (hibiscus tea).
These workshops are part of the NHCC’s Siempre Creativo program, which provides free multidisciplinary arts programs for seniors. Due to a smaller class size, each class will be offered twice in one day. Please register for only one time slot.
Classes are located at Street Food Institute 1411 4th St. SW, Albuquerque NM
