If you are wondering how to prepare Peruvian food, come join us and learn from our Peruvian chef as Instituto Cervantes Albuquerque, in partnership with the National Hispanic Cultural Center and Pop Fizz, hosts a Peruvian cooking class. The menu will include:
Appetizer: Ceviche (citrus-marinated seafood; this version is made with fish)
Main course: Seco de carne (a thick stew of meat with cassava, chile, tomatoes, and onions)
Dessert: Mazamorra morada (corn and milk dessert similar to rice pudding)
Drink: One glass of wine provided per person; additional wine may be purchased from Pop Fizz
