Leni, a Jewish television personality, brings her boyfriend Rafi, a Palestinian university professor, home to meet her family in Madrid. Sharing an apartment, the extended family includes a belly-dancing sister, a brother with a wounded pet duck, and a blind grandfather with a loaded rifle.
