Chatter presents its first full orchestral concert in partnership with the Albuquerque Youth Symphony. The program features Become Ocean by John Luther Adams, a Pulitzer Prize– and Grammy Award–winning composition known for its vast, immersive soundscape that evokes the rising sea. Paired with it is John Coolidge Adams’ Son of Chamber Symphony, a kinetic and rhythmically charged work originally commissioned for the San Francisco Ballet. David Felberg conducts this side-by-side performance uniting professional and student musicians in a bold and ambitious musical collaboration.
