The NHCC’s new summer music and dance series in the Center’s enchanting Fountain Courtyard continues, presented in partnership with Melaza Music. Spend another Sunday evening with us enjoying live music, drinks, and the delicious Latin cuisine of Nob Hill’s Guava Tree Cafe. We have invited some of our musician friends, from the local community and outside, for lively summer get-togethers right next to the beautiful Rio Grande Bosque.
Los Angeles trio Viento Callejero represents the newest incarnation of the Latin indie and fusion movement, breaking down the rhythmic and melodic pulse of cumbia colombiana, Cuban son montuno, merengue, reggae, dance hall, funk, and rock to create a fresh sound with a new, infectious twist. The group has taken a unique approach to its art by featuring a different guest vocalist for every performance, thus creating a one-of-a-kind musical experience every time.
