Eight-year-old Valentín lives with his grandmother in late-1960s Buenos Aires. Solemn and observant, he spends a lot of time “building stuff for astronauts” and peering at the world through enormous glasses, observing the adults in his life with analytical zeal. When he feels that the adult world is handling its affairs badly, he takes matters into his own hands. Presented as part of the Bank of America Free Thursday Film Series.
