The New Mexico Music Hall of Fame award show is to recognize those who have made significant contributions to our State’s musical culture. The process of choosing these musical heroes begins each year with the New Mexico Music Hall of Fame Awards Committee asking New Mexico citizens to nominate artists and innovators they thought should be so honored. The nominations were then judged by the Committee and this years nine nominees were chosen for recognition of their lifetime achievement. The New Mexico Music Hall of Fame award show is dedicated to them and is a chance for many of their fans and friends to give heartfelt thanks for all they have done for the musical arts of New Mexico. The stories of each of our honorees are testimonies to lives well lived and generosity of spirit. Their artistry and innovations continue to inspire and provide direction for so many. In that spirit, the New Mexico Music Hall of Fame and the producers of have joined to present this event that benefits the New Mexico Music Hall of Fame Awards and the New Mexico Music Hall of Fame Museum.
