Sandia Performing Arts Company presents the world premiere of Rosalie’s Magic Rocks, a tale of how life changes for an enterprising young Latina. Rosalie goes to live with her grandfather, and, misinterpreting his advice, begins selling magic rocks at her school. When she gets into trouble, her abuelo assists her in finding a solution. This story of coming of age in Hispanic New Mexico, a “Latino version of Tom Sawyer,” is based on real-life events. It features a cast of young actors, and will delight younger, as well as adult, audiences.
