The Hispanic Genealogical Research Center of NM presents the 2025 Speaker Series starting with New Mexico Heritage DAHL Sheep Onate 1598 Herds by Donald Chavez.
The Belen Ranch bringing back the DAHL original sheep brought in with by the Spanish Settlers of 1598. Mr. Donald Chavez has worked and dedicated his time to saving this original heritage herd of Sheep. Using DNA research and methods, he is breeding unique almost extinct.
The HGRC Office is in the History and Literary Arts Building at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, Tuesday & Thursday from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. By appointment only on Saturdays.
