On the first Sunday of every month, the Visual Arts Museum is free to all New Mexico residents! The Art Museum presents multiple exhibitions in its three gallery spaces each year and welcomes visitors of all ages. Our three galleries showcase artworks from a range of media that focus on diverse subject matter and examine identity and culture.
While you’re in the museum for the First Sunday Free Admission please, join us for the “Pláticas Públicas: In the Gallery with the Artists” at 2:00 pm for a Gallery Tour and Musical Performance led by Francisco Lefebre, one of the featured artists in the NHCC art exhibition “Voces del Pueblo: Artists of the Levantamiento Chicano in New Mexico.”
