DESCRIPTION:10 am to 5 pm \nCelebrate the NMJACL’s annual fall festival Aki Matsuri on Sunday\, September 17th featuring Japanese cultural exhibits\, vendor fair\, musical demonstrations\, Japanese art\, Japanese food\, Beer and Sake tastings and more! \nThe New Mexico Japanese-American Citizens League (NMJACL) has been hosting Aki Matsuri (trans.: fall festival) for over twenty years. DESCRIPTION:10 am \nWe’d like to let you in on a little secret. \nEach year\, ¡Globalquerque! kicks off with a free concert for our local school kids. This mini-fest features two of our regular performers doing short sets as a way to introduce the kids to some cool different cultures. \nThis year the participating bands are Trad.Attack! (Estonia) and Betsayda Machado y La Parranda El Clavo (Venezuela). \nThis year we are opening the program up to the general public. Come share some great music and the joy and enthusiasm of seeing the kids engage with the bands.
