    8 pm Saturday, 2 pm Saturday & Sunday Abrepaso seeks to create honest flamenco dance that provokes the audience to think, feel, question, and remember our shared humanity. The name Abrepaso comes from the Spanish phrase “abrir paso,” which can signify making or paving the way and breaking open space. The company aims to establish a contemporary approach to flamenco in the United States, breaking down boundaries and stereotypes through professional, quality performances and education.     6 pm to 7 pm Beginning and Intermediate - This class is geared for teenagers and adults. Come learn footwork, partner skills and choreography. No experience necessary. 7 pm to 8 pm Intermediate and Advanced - In order to participate in this class, dancers must know how to keep time, closed position calls, dame, enchufla, and outside turn.   • Festival Ballet Albuquerque: Sacred Journeys with Robert Mirabal

    Saturday at 7 pm and Sunday at 2 pm Sacred Journeys, presented by Festival Ballet Albuquerque in partnership with the NHCC, is a reflection of our New Mexican cultures and storytelling through dance, music, and spoken word. Our Hispanic culture is prominent in the story “Las Soldaderas,” choreographed by Dominic Guerra and depicting the story of the young lovers and the many brave women who fought in the Mexican Revolution.   • Jenny and the Mexicats St. Patrick’s Day Dance Party

    7:30 pm Education Building Grand Hall NHCC and Pop Fizz invite you to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a night of dancing and fun with the world-renowned Jenny and The Mexicats.
