Festival Ballet Albuquerque: Nutcracker in the Land of Enchantment

7 pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 2 pm Saturday and Sunday Festival Ballet Albuquerque is partnering with the National Hispanic Cultural Center to present an original production, The Nutcracker in the Land of Enchantment choreographed by Patricia Dickinson Wells. Broadway Bound LIVE: Audition Masterclass

3:00 - 5:00 pm Join Broadway Bound LIVE hopefuls for an audition Masterclass taught by Elizabeth Gabel. Elizabeth is known for her work in casting on Stranger Things (2022), Logan (2017), Sicario (2015), and Terminator Salvation (2009), among other movies and shows. Elizabeth's deep knowledge of casting and production make her the perfect person to kick off Season 2 of Broadway Bound LIVE. This masterclass is open to members of the community. 7:30 pm Frank Leto and PANdemonium with the Odara Dance Ensemble present Carnaval 2023: Homage! Frank Leto will be celebrating his 18th annual Carnaval performance at the NHCC’s Roy E. Disney Center for the Performing Arts with a production entitled Homage. This unique production will pay respect to the rhythms, cultures and people who have influenced Frank and Pilar Leto. Arte Poquito: Baila Conmigo

10:00 am Babies and toddlers ages 0 months to 4 years and their caregivers explore arts through traditional NM dance and other dance forms using ribbon sticks, rhythm instruments, and even flamenco.  Arte Poquito is a free, monthly, 45-minute program for babies and toddlers ages 0 months to 4 years and their caregivers that cultivates creativity and self-expression through the exploration of Hispanic/Latine arts and culture. Teoquiyaoatl (Sacred Portal): Performance and Installation by Angel Cabrales
