On Point Dance Studio: A World of Dance

NM Jazz Latino Orchestra

Disney Center for Performing Arts: Albuquerque Journal Theatre 1701 4th St SW, Albuquerque, NM8:00 pm In their fifth performance at the NHCC, “Cuba Linda,” the New Mexico Jazz Latino Orchestra (NMJLO) honors the invaluable contributions of Cuban artists to the genres of Latin jazz and salsa. Live Pop Up Salsa 2: End of Summer Night Swing

Arte Poquito: Baila de Bebé
NHCC-Newsletter-August-11-–-2410:00 am Infants 0-18 months and their caregivers explore arts through traditional NM dance and other dance forms using ribbon sticks, rhythm instruments, and even flamenco. Arte Poquito is a free, monthly, 45-minute program for infants ages 0 to 18 months and caregivers that nurtures creativity and provides bilingual introductory arts experiences balanced with social interaction. Each program focuses on different aspects of Hispanic/Latine arts, including music, dance, and storytelling. NHCC instructors model the introduction of core arts concepts to infants and caregivers in a supportive environment. (more...)
