DESCRIPTION:5:00 pm \nNHCC | Albuquerque Journal Theatre \nThe INDIA Association of New Mexico presents the Diwali Festival of Lights 2024. Diwali is one of India’s biggest Hindu festivals\, celebrated with great enthusiasm and happiness. The festival lasts five continuous days\, and the third day is celebrated as the main Diwali festival or ‘Festival of Lights.’ Different colorful varieties of fireworks are always associated with this festival. On this auspicious day\, people light up diyas and candles all around their house. They perform Laxmi Puja in the evening and seek the divine blessings of Goddess of Wealth. The festival of Diwali is never complete without the exchange of gifts. People present Diwali gifts to all near and dear ones. \nTickets are available at the INDIA Association of New Mexico or by calling 505-306-9624. \n*The event is a rental event not an NHCC production.
