Regalos: NHCC’s Spring Craft Fair

10 am to 2 pm Discover unique and beautiful crafts that make great gifts for your friends and family (or for yourself !) our Spring Regalos craft fair. All purchases not only support local artists and artisans but also the NHCC Foundation, which funds programs and events at the NHCC. The craft fair will take place outside of La Tiendita, in the NHCC's Visual Arts Building. MARAVILLA: UNA NOCHE EN COLOMBIA 2017

6 pm – 12 am In 2017, the National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation’s signature fundraising event, Maravilla, presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico, will highlight the vibrant and rich culture of Colombia. Maravilla provides direct support to the NHCC and its Foundation to promote, preserve and advance Hispanic arts, culture and humanities, while providing a unique cultural experience to attendees. NHCC Foundation Presents the 5th Annual Women’s Art Show

10:00 am to 4:00 pm The Women’s Art Show displays work from approximately 50 female artists who are coming from throughout New Mexico to participate in this show. Half of the artists are coming from the following communities: Chimayo, Taos, Tijeras, Las Vegas, Rio Rancho, Los Lunas, Alcalde, Chamita, Espanola, Placitas, Santa Fe, Peralta, Los Ranchos, Santo Domingo, Las Cruces, Anthony, Santa Cruz and Cerrillos. NHCC Foundation: Cinco De Mayo Run

9:00 am Come early to check in Join RunFit and the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) Foundation for the 1st Annual Cinco de Mayo Run. Participants can choose from the 10K Run, 5K Run or Walk, or Kids K. After the run, stick around for free entertainment for the whole family. Tequila en El Torreón

6:00 pm The National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation is hosting a Tequila Tasting Event on June 29th, 2023 at 6:00 pm at the National Hispanic Cultural Center's Torreón. This includes tastings of five different tequilas, led by Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits Director of Mixology Michael Trujillo and a five-course food pairing by Chef Marcus Montoya. Cecilia López, a talented Mexican-American opera soprano known as "The Daughter of Idaho," was born in Rupert, Idaho but currently lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ms. López's musical career began when she was a little child and began singing mariachi songs that her mother had taught her.
