Stitch Night
5:00 to 7:00 pm Stitch socially with us on the second Wednesday of the Month! Bring whatever knitting, crocheting, weaving, or cross stitch, or fiber art projects you’re working on, and join the conversation with your fellow crafters for an informal craft get-together. If you would like to learn the basics of a particular stitching technique, please bring supplies with you, though we will always have basic crochet and knitting materials on hand for an impromptu demonstration! The Atrisco Companies: Mariachi Spectacular de Albuquerque
On view in the History & Literary Arts Building The Atrisco Companies is a family of social enterprises comprising seven nonprofit and community-focused organizations. The organization's mission is to make exceptional community services accessible to New Mexicans, empowering them to pursue richer and more meaningful experiences for their families. Among these organizations is Mariachi Spectacular de Albuquerque, one of the seven nonprofits overseen by Atrisco Companies. For over 30 years, Mariachi Spectacular de Albuquerque has been a premier conference and concert series in the country. Early Childhood Bilingual Storytime
10:00 am Stories come to life through art, movement, and more! For children ages 3 to 5 and caregivers. This month, we will be reading Fresh Juice/Jugo Fresco by Robert Liu-Trujillo, and making fresh juice to go along with the story! Free Community Event, generously supported by NM Gas. Bilingual Storytime is designed for children ages 3 to 5 and their caregivers. NHCC Book Club
6:00 pm – 7:30 pm The NHCC is thrilled to announce that we will be reconnecting in person with lovers of literature, folks who love to read, and those who enjoy talking about the far reaches of Latinidad.
