DESCRIPTION:7 pm \nAlbuquerque master guitarist Gustavo Pimentel (“The Guitarist”) has been exposed to the finest exemplars of guitar music since childhood\, beginning his studies in 1974 in the studios of Pimentel & Sons Guitarmakers. He graduated in 1995 from Mexico City’s prestigious Estudio de Arte Guitarrístico. Internationally recognized as a classical guitarist\, he has performed in Spain and Germany as well as Mexico City. He has a following throughout Albuquerque and surrounding areas of aficionados of all genres of guitar music\, with emphasis on classical guitar. His concert at the NHCC is the first musical performance to be held in the intimate\, breathtaking setting of the Torreón.
