A two-time Grammy Award winner founded in 1961 by Natividad “Nati” Cano, Mariachi Los Camperos has played a fundamental role in the development of mariachi music in the United States by training and mentoring new generations of musicians. Cano was a visionary leader who took mariachi performance out of customary locations such as cantinas and into concert halls. 5th Annual South American Folk Fair

The festival will feature traditional food and folkloric dances from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Perú and Venezuela. Trío Los Andinos
Roy E. Disney Center for Performing Arts: Albuquerque Journal Theatre 1701 4th St SW, Albuquerque, NM7:30 pm Puerto Rican ensemble Trío Los Andinos, together with Mariachi Nuevo Sonido and pianist and violinist Mariano Morales, performs some of the most beloved compositions by Latin American composers. Much of Latin America’s romantic music has been written for, and traditionally performed by, trios, and the concert is designed to continue and preserve this tradition, as well as uniting the Americas through music.
