Still in her mid-20s, she has been described as “Cuba’s finest young female singer” (The Guardian). Maravilla provides direct support to the NHCC and its Foundation to promote, preserve and advance Hispanic arts, culture and humanities, while providing a unique cultural experience to attendees. 10 am to 5 pm Celebrate the NMJACL’s annual fall festival Aki Matsuri on Sunday, September 17th featuring Japanese cultural exhibits, vendor fair, musical demonstrations, Japanese art, Japanese food, Beer and Sake tastings and more! The New Mexico Japanese-American Citizens League (NMJACL) has been hosting Aki Matsuri (trans.: fall festival) for over twenty years. This mini-fest features two of our regular performers doing short sets as a way to introduce the kids to some cool different cultures. This year the participating bands are Trad.Attack!
