Carnaval 2023: Homage

Frank Leto will be celebrating his 18th annual Carnaval performance at the NHCC’s Roy E. Disney Center for the Performing Arts with a production entitled Homage. This unique production will pay respect to the rhythms, cultures and people who have influenced Frank and Pilar Leto. Día de Familia y Comunidad: Fiesta de Barelas

Visitors will have a chance to make paper architecture, maracas, and weavings. Join Chuy Martinez and other flamenco performers for sing-along presentations featuring music from the John Donald Robb New Mexico music archives. In this round, the remaining contestants have been paired with film crews from across the City to write, film, and edit an 8-minute short film in just 48 hours. This challenge will showcase their acting abilities alongside prepared monologues that they have taped.
