4:00 pm gates open ¡Globalquerque!, New Mexico's Annual Celebration of World Music and Culture, has become a premiere festival in the Southwest since its inception in 2005. The purpose of this annual music and culture festival is to highlight cultures of the world alongside the traditional cultures of New Mexico. 11:00 am to 5:00 pm Vinyl records and collectors will be showcasing and selling collectibles through out the day. A unique opportunity to get your hands on classic records from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Classic to current cd’s, tapes and unique posters will be available for a limited time. The process of choosing these musical heroes begins each year with the New Mexico Music Hall of Fame Awards Committee asking New Mexico citizens to nominate artists and innovators who they thought should be so honored.
