When Antonio Márez is almost seven years old\, the old healer Ultima comes to stay with him and his family in their small house in Guadalupe\, New Mexico. Antonio’s parents hope that she will be able to tell them what Antonio’s future will be as each parent has very different hopes for him. As Antonio searches for a set of moral values that can reconcile the Catholic faith\, the call of the earth and the mystery of Ultima’s spiritualism\, his community reckons with the aftermath of World War II. Anaya’s masterpiece is brought to life\, filled with love and magic. \n$30 Adult\, $20 Senior\, & children age 12 and younger.
