SUMMARY:¡Vamos al Museo!
DESCRIPTION:10:30 am to 12 pm \nA great morning of art-making for children of all ages and families of all sizes.   A visit to the museum is included in this artist led workshop\, on the first Saturday of every month. We will meet in the Creative Classroom in the Pete V. Domenici Building.  Please pre-register using the link HERE so we can prepare materials. \nArtist Al Na’ir Lara\, whose work is in La Ultima Exhibición\, will lead us in a 2D mixed media workshop exploring texture and environments. \nFor more information please call or email Elena Baca at 505-246-2261 or ElenaD.Baca@state.nm.us\nFree\, $5 donations are encouraged to support the artists & purchase supplies

SUMMARY:High School Art Exhibit: Opening Reception
DESCRIPTION:2 pm – 4 pm \nThis exhibit\, which runs through May 14\, will feature artwork created by students from Albuquerque High School and Volcano Vista High School in response to the beloved novel by Rudolfo Anaya\, Bless Me\, Ultima (1972). The students’ work\, also inspired by the novel\, compliments the artwork featured in the NHCC Art Museum La Ultima Exhibición\, which runs through November 11\, 2018.\nFree public event
