DESCRIPTION:October 23\, 26\, 28 & 30\, 2022\n2:00 pm Sunday\, 7:30 pm Wednesday & Friday \nThe NHCC & Opera Southwest presents Hector Armienta’s Zorro\, a fully staged opera with orchestra\, sung in English and Spanish with both English and Spanish translation supertitles. \nDiego\, a young man of noble blood in Alta California\, awakens to the plight of the poor and oppressed through the love of Ana Maria. Donning a black mask\, he becomes Zorro and brings the revolution to the pueblo of Los Ángeles. \nOpera Southwest\, along with Fort Worth Opera\, the National Hispanic Cultural Center\, and Opera Cultura\, is thrilled to have commissioned an opera based on the Zorro universe.
