DESCRIPTION:Please note:  This event has been rescheduled from June 2\, 2020. It sold out at that time. If you have a reservation for the June 2nd event it will be honored on September 1st. We are currently taking names for a waiting list and will let guests on the waiting list know if anything becomes available before the new September 1st event. \nNHCC invites adults for artistic fun in a relaxed social setting. This is a great opportunity for friends to hang out\, a unique date night option\, or a place to come solo and connect with fellow art enthusiasts. A local favorite\, artist Kenny Chavez\, whose work is part of the Art Museum’s permanent collection\, will lead a hands-on workshop using recycled metal\, wire\, and bottle caps. DESCRIPTION:9:30 am (MST) on the second Tuesday of the Month \nOn Zoom and onsite \nOur Colcha community Workshop is open to all levels of experience in an informal setting. This workshop is instructed by Annette Gutierrez-Turk. Annette has taught this art form to groups internationally and at the NHCC for many years. She is also an award winning artist\, most recently recognized in 2019 at Santa Fe Spanish Market. Annette will demonstrate as well as answer questions.
