This workshop is instructed by Annette Gutierrez-Turk. Annette has taught this art form to groups internationally and at the NHCC for many years. NHCC Foundation Presents the 5th Annual Women’s Art Show
Domenici Education Building 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM10:00 am to 4:00 pm The Women’s Art Show displays work from approximately 50 female artists who are coming from throughout New Mexico to participate in this show. Half of the artists are coming from the following communities: Chimayo, Taos, Tijeras, Las Vegas, Rio Rancho, Los Lunas, Alcalde, Chamita, Espanola, Placitas, Santa Fe, Peralta, Los Ranchos, Santo Domingo, Las Cruces, Anthony, Santa Cruz and Cerrillos. Fronteras del Futuro Catalog Release Party

The Mountains Wore Down to the Valleys Opening Reception
5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Join us for an opening reception to celebrate the artists behind our newest exhibition, The Mountains Wore Down to the Valleys! The Mountains Wore Down to the Valleys is a collaborative sound and visual installation by New Mexican artists Adri De La Cruz and Marisa Demarco. The multi-phase exhibition begins with a sound experience that transforms over the course of 72 hours as 20 musical compositions on vinyl records erode over time.
