DESCRIPTION:5:00 to 7:00 pm \nStitch socially with us on the second Wednesday of the Month! Bring whatever knitting\, crocheting\, weaving\, or cross stitch\, or fiber art projects you’re working on\, and join the conversation with your fellow crafters for an informal craft get-together. If you would like to learn the basics of a particular stitching technique\, please bring supplies with you\, though we will always have basic crochet and knitting materials on hand for an impromptu demonstration! \nIn 2024\, we will meet on March 13\, April 10\, May 8\, June 12\, July 10\, August 14\, September 11\, October 9\, November 13\, and December 11. \nMeetings will be in the Conference Room of The History and Literary Arts building from 5:00pm-7:00pm. \nFree Community Event. SUMMARY:Colcha Community Stitch A-Long
DESCRIPTION:9:30 am in-person\n10:30 am Zoom \nOur Colcha Community Stich-A-Long is open to all levels of experience in an informal setting. This workshop is instructed by Annette Gutierrez-Turk. Annette has taught colcha\, a Spanish Colonial embroidery style\, to groups internationally and at the NHCC for many years. She is also an award-winning artist\, most recently recognized in 2019 at Traditional Spanish Market in Santa Fe. Annette will demonstrate as well as answer questions. Join us every month on the fourth Tuesday\, in-person at 9:30am and on Zoom at 10:30am. Everyone will have a chance to share what they are working on. \nPlease register here every month and we will email the Zoom link to you.
