Oralidad Festival: Lara Manzanares & Joe Hayes
NHCC-Newsletter-November-2-307:30 pm Lara Manzanares, a bilingual singer-songwriter with roots in Tierra Amarilla, will perform a joint show with master storyteller Joe Hayes. The performance will begin with a folk narration by Hayes aimed at adult and children, to be followed by a performance by the singer-songwriter. This show weaves together the past, present, and future of the oral tradition as well as the performers' passion for blending cultures and the roots of New Mexico. Explorar Las Artes: Teatro Conmigo
NHCC-BOD-January-2020-Meeting10:00 am Children 18 months to 4 years and their caregivers explore dramatic arts and even visit the NHCC Wells Fargo Auditorium. This multi-sensory program includes time for socializing and dramatic play. Explorar Las Artes is a free, monthly, 45-minute program for children 18 months to 4 years and caregivers that nurtures creativity and provides bilingual introductory arts experiences balanced with social interaction. Arte Poquito: Música de Bebé
NHCC-Newsletter-August-11-–-2410:00 am Infants 0-18 months and their caregivers explore music and rhyme with toddler musical instruments, Spanish rhymes, and even create an art activity with musical notes. Arte Poquito is a free, monthly, 45-minute program for infants ages 0 to 18 months and caregivers that nurtures creativity and provides bilingual introductory arts experiences balanced with social interaction.
