Mundos de Mestizaje: Torreón Tour
11:00 am (MST) The National Hispanic Cultural Center is offering a guided tour of the Mundos de Mestizaje fresco created by artist Frederico Vigil. Tours of the fresco are offered Thursdays and Fridays at 11am. Located in the Torreón on the NHCC Campus, Mundos de Mestizaje depicts thousands of years of Hispanic culture, history, and identity. Arte Poquito: Música de Bebé
NHCC-Newsletter-August-11-–-2410:00 am Infants 0-18 months and their caregivers explore music and rhyme with toddler musical instruments, Spanish rhymes, and even create an art activity with musical notes. Arte Poquito is a free, monthly, 45-minute program for infants ages 0 to 18 months and caregivers that nurtures creativity and provides bilingual introductory arts experiences balanced with social interaction. Each program focuses on different aspects of Hispanic/Latine arts, including music, dance, and storytelling.
