Domenici Education Building 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM10:00 am Arte Poquito is a free, monthly, 45-minute program for babies and toddlers ages 0 months to 4 years and their caregivers that cultivates creativity and self-expression through the exploration of Hispanic/Latine arts and culture. Participants explore the NHCC Museum, Performing Arts Center, and engage in artmaking, music, movement, dance, drama, and bilingual story time. NHCC instructors model age-appropriate arts techniques that celebrate self-expression, build vocabulary, and strengthen both fine-motor and gross-motor skills in a fun environment. New Mexico Folk Dance Classes For Seniors
PNM Rehearsal Hall 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM, United States1:30 to 3:30 pm New Mexico Folk Dance for Seniors will feature four weeks of traditional New Mexican folk dance lessons, including the traditional La Marcha dance, taught by instructor Lucy Salazar. Classes run for four consecutive Wednesdays in October and November, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. On the day of the final class, live music will be provided by La Rondalla for a fun-filled dance fiesta!
