10 am to 4 pm The first Sunday of every month the Visual Arts Museum is free to all New Mexico residents. During this time, visitors are encouraged to explore the NHCC’s Visual Arts Museum art exhibitions such as Aquí Estamos: New Selections from the Permanent Collection, Tempo y Tiempo: 4 Photographers in New Mexico, and Fronteras del Futuro: Art in New Mexico and Beyond.

Hay first came to prominence as the lead vocalist of Men at Work, which was formed in 1979 and went on to become a multi-platinum-selling musical act, winning a Grammy for best new artist in 1982. The original band was short-lived, however, and after 1985 Hay became primarily a solo artist. This workshop is instructed by Annette Gutierrez-Turk. Annette has taught this art form to groups internationally and at the NHCC for many years.
