    7:15 pm to 8:15 pm Students will learn basic flamenco technique and a short choreography.  No experience required; men and women of all ages and ability are welcome! $10 suggested donation Bridgit (Brigida) Luján began studying dance at the age of two, and earned a Master’s degree in dance from the University of New Mexico. After performing under the direction of Eva Encinias, Lili del Castillo, Pablo Rodarte, and Antonio Hidalgo, she joined Maria Benitez’ Estampa Española in 2000.     5:30 pm - 7:30 pm On the first Thursday of the month, NHCC invites adults for artistic fun in a relaxed social setting, which includes snacks, refreshments, and beer & wine for sale from Pop Fizz.  This is a great opportunity for friends to hang out, a unique date night option, or a place to come solo and connect with fellow art enthusiasts.   • Jugamos Juntos: ¡Vamos al Museo!, Spanish Mosaics

    10:30 am -- 12 pm The National Hispanic Cultural Center is pleased to offer children’s programming on Saturday mornings during June, July, and half of August, from 10:30 am to noon. Families can come to the Center for hands-on art activities, bilingual sing-alongs, outdoor activities in the bosque, and story times in the Center’s library. For Vamos al Museo on June 4th, in honor of the National Institute of Flamenco’s Festival Flamenco Internacional, we’ll work with tile mosaics in the Spanish tradition.
