3 pm “Our Fair New Mexico” includes performances by musicians living in New Mexico. On June 21 at 3 pm, the 14th concert of the series will feature ReVoZo a Dos: Vicente Griego, “El Cartucho,” and José Valle, “Chuscales.” Watch the concert at 3 pm on the NHCC’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/NHCCNM/ ReVoZo draws upon Flamenco Puro and Rumba Flamenca tradition while combining these with elements of dance music, including Cuban Son, Reggae, Cumbia, Ranchera, and Funk. Art Project: Sombra

  Today we are inspired by three artists,Cristina González, Jacob Sisneros and Paula Castillo. These artists have created large metal sculptures that create beautiful shadows and can be found on the NHCC campus. We hope their use of shapes and the sun inspire you to create your own sombra art! Instituto Cervantes Book Club – Registration

Instituto Cervantes is launching a Spanish Book Club, for the time being, online. This is a club aimed at people interested in literature, both Spanish speakers and students of Spanish with a minimum level of B2 (Advanced Level). In this term we will read Tarta de almendras con amor by Angela Vallvey, Un mar violeta oscuro by Ayanta Barilli, Ni siquiera los muertos by Juan Gómez Bárcena and A flor de piel by Javier Moro.
