As a 30 year participant at Spanish Market\, she has received many awards\, including the Master’s Award for Lifetime Achievement.  She has been honored by the National Endowment for the Arts\, the New Mexico Endowment for the Humanities\, and Women in the Arts.  Marie Romero Cash has created art for many churches in the United States and in Mexico\, including Stations of the Cross for the Basilica of St. Francis in Santa Fe. Romero Cash is also the author of “Living Shrines: Devotional Spaces in Northern New Mexico Homes”; “Santos: Enduring Images of Northern New Mexican Village Churches”; “Tortilla Chronicles: Growing up in Santa Fe”; and  “Lowrider Blues: Reflections from my Inner Barrio”. \nThe presentation will be followed by a book signing.
