1st Annual National Hispanic Cultural Center History Festival
History and Literary Arts BuildingIn 2020, we celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the completion of the famous buon fresco, Mundos de Mestizaje, created by Frederico Vigil in the National Hispanic Cultural Center Torreón. The first annual NHCC History Festival will take place Friday and Saturday, February 21-22, 2020, and we invite you to join us celebrating Hispanic and Latinx history with this year's theme, "Mundos de Mestizaje."All festival events will respond to and engage with the fresco, allowing us to explore Hispanic/Latinx history through the cross-cultural, transnational, and multidisciplinary influences (more...)
Día de Familia: Día de los Muertos

Decorate sugar skulls, craft a mini-ofrenda and marigolds, get your face painted, and contribute to our community ofrenda while you enjoy music and dance traditions of Día de los Muertos. Vamos al Museo: Family Art Workshop
Domenici Education Building 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM10:30 am ¡Vamos al Museo! is a morning of artmaking for children of all ages and families of all sizes. A visit to the museum is included in this artist-led workshop. We will meet in the Creative Classroom in the Pete V. Domenici Building.
