DESCRIPTION:7:00 pm \nThe NHCC Fall Film Series features Hispanic filmmakers that preserve our stories\, promote our experiences and advance the vast cultural identity of our gente. This film series kicks off with Las Tres Sisters (2025) on Thursday\, Sept. 11. \nFollowing in the footsteps of their beloved grandmother\, three Mexican-American sisters take an adventure through Mexico to complete a traditional pilgrimage and repair their relationship (IMDB). \nLas Tres Sisters has received recognition for its story and impact\, specifically within the Latino film community. It has been nominated for Best Picture at the Mexican Film and Television Awards and was awarded a LALIFF Works In Progress award from the Latino Film Institute.
