Domenici Education Building \nNHCC invites adults for artistic fun in a relaxed social setting. This is a great opportunity for friends to hang out\, a unique date night option\, or a place to come solo and connect with fellow art enthusiasts. Drinks and snacks will be available to purchase. \nArtist Lita Sandoval\, whose work is part of the Art Museum’s permanent collection\, will lead a hands-on workshop using thin metal\, decorative elements\, sharpies\, and repoussé techniques to create contemporary jewelry\, an ornament or mini frame. \nPlease pre-register with the link below (so we know how many materials to prepare). Registration for the following month is available the day after the current program month. DESCRIPTION:9:30 am in-person\n10:30 am Zoom \nOur Colcha Community Stich-A-Long is open to all levels of experience in an informal setting. This workshop is instructed by Annette Gutierrez-Turk. Annette has taught colcha\, a Spanish Colonial embroidery style\, to groups internationally and at the NHCC for many years. She is also an award-winning artist\, most recently recognized in 2019 at Traditional Spanish Market in Santa Fe. Annette will demonstrate as well as answer questions. Join us every month on the fourth Tuesday\, in-person at 9:30am and on Zoom at 10:30am.
