Convergence x Crossroads: Street Art from the Southwest
Visual Art Museum 1701 4th Street SW, AlbuquerqueConvergence x Crossroads: Street Art from the Southwest is an exhibition in the Art Museum at the National Hispanic Cultural Center that showcases the vibrancy and ingenuity of the street art scenes in New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, California, and Northern Mexico presenting artworks by artists who identify as Chicano/a/x, Latino/a/x, Indigenous, and Native American. The artists whose work is featured in the exhibition use the street as their medium to create graffiti and/or murals. On the street, their work is widely accessible to passersby, yet also ephemeral.
