On June 21 at 3 pm, the 14th concert of the series will feature ReVoZo a Dos: Vicente Griego, “El Cartucho,” and José Valle, “Chuscales.” Watch the concert at 3 pm on the NHCC’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/NHCCNM/ ReVoZo draws upon Flamenco Puro and Rumba Flamenca tradition while combining these with elements of dance music, including Cuban Son, Reggae, Cumbia, Ranchera, and Funk. Carnaval Celebration 2021 Auditions
Live via Zoom or in-person3 pm Live via Zoom, register for an audition by emailing odaradance@gmail.com The NHCC’s annual celebration of Carnaval has been postponed because of the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, but we are not giving up on the celebration. While we work out the details, the Odara Dance Ensemble will be holding online auditions on Saturday, October 17th. Please register for an audition by emailing odaradance@gmail.com by October 15th. Unfortunately, with the current health restrictions, this year’s Despedida is another wonderful in-person event that has been canceled.
