Ballet Folklórico Santa Fe and the NHCC Present Traditions! Folklórico Dance Spectacular

2 pm & 7:30 pm Mainstage evening show begins at 7:30 pm, with a pre-show live mariachi concert beginning at 6:30 pm in the lobby and moving to the auditorium at 7 pm. 5th Annual South American Folk Fair

2 pm The 5th Annual South American Folk Fair seeks to unite Albuquerque’s South American community in a day of cultural experience and connection through music, dance, and food. The festival will feature traditional food and folkloric dances from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Perú and Venezuela. Headlining the event will be Houston-based Pachangara, under the direction of Venezuelan percussionist Gerardo Araujo. No experience necessary. 7 pm to 8 pm Intermediate and Advanced – In order to participate in this class, dancers must know how to keep time, closed position calls, dame, enchufla, and outside turn.
