We really miss seeing you at the NHCC but hope you will join us on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm (MST) February – December. \nMonotype with Elena:\nUse supplies from around the house to explore Printmaking! You will need: Ziploc or plastic bag\, tape\, acrylic paint\, brushes of your choice\, paper or fabric to print on. Optional: old credit or gift card\, pencil\, leaves\, fruit\, stuff to make interesting marks. \nPlease register and prior to the class you will receive an email with the zoom link. Please do not pass out the link\, we will let you in to the zoom room from your registration\, thank you! \nFree community event \n \nWe will have simple project demos and suggestions for at home art making. As Mandarriagoes through a series of exercises from a military manual\, the director’s observation of his body and his gestures offers insight into his memories\, his solitary life\, and the invisible wound he still carries with him\, 30 years after his final mission. \nCuba/Spain/Argentina; 2018; Spanish with English subtitles; 65 minutes; not rated. \nFree community event \n \nDuring May\, in collaboration with Spain’s Festival de Málaga\, established in 1998 to promote Spanish cinema and celebrating its 24th anniversary next month\, Instituto Cervantes presents four documentaries that were screened at the festival in 2019.
