    6 pm to 7 pm Beginning and Intermediate – This class is geared for teenagers and adults. Come learn footwork, partner skills and choreography. No experience necessary. 7 pm to 8 pm Intermediate and Advanced – In order to participate in this class, dancers must know how to keep time, closed position calls, dame, enchufla, and outside turn.   • ¡HAH! Happy Arte Hour

    5:30 pm to 7:30 pm On the first Thursday of the month, NHCC invites adults for artistic fun in a relaxed social setting, which includes snacks, refreshments, beer & wine for sale from Pop Fizz. This month we will learn with artist, Pamela Enriquez-Courts whose artwork is in our current exhibit, "Qué Chola".  She will show us how she works with patterns and floral elements.   • Ballet Folklórico Santa Fe and the NHCC Present Traditions! Folklórico Dance Spectacular

    2 pm & 7:30 pm Mainstage evening show begins at 7:30 pm, with a pre-show live mariachi concert beginning at 6:30 pm in the lobby and moving to the auditorium at 7 pm. Come early and enjoy a full night of music and dance! Traditions is a folkloric dance showcase featuring three New Mexico ensembles, including Ballet Folklórico Santa Fe, Albuquerque’s Grupo Folklórico Desoluna, and northern New Mexico’s Baile Ilusión, accompanied by Banda Neluayotl from Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico. A two-time Grammy Award winner founded in 1961 by Natividad “Nati” Cano, Mariachi Los Camperos has played a fundamental role in the development of mariachi music in the United States by training and mentoring new generations of musicians. Cano was a visionary leader who took mariachi performance out of customary locations such as cantinas and into concert halls.     7 pm An escaped convict follows the Camino de Santiago in an attempt to recover the stolen jewels hidden years ago by a fellow inmate in the remote, wooded Galician village of Xanaz. There, he encounters sinister old men, strange disappearances, spirits, a peculiar priest, and even the archbishop of Santiago de Compostela in this tale full of fantasy, terror, and humor.
