    6 pm to 7 pm Beginning and Intermediate - This class is geared for teenagers and adults. Come learn footwork, partner skills and choreography. No experience necessary. 7 pm to 8 pm Intermediate and Advanced - In order to participate in this class, dancers must know how to keep time, closed position calls, dame, enchufla, and outside turn.   • Film: Is It Really So Strange?

    7 pm Burgeoning since Morrissey moved to LA, the Latino fan scene is the subject of Is It Really So Strange?, a documentary film by William E. Jones, who immersed himself in fan nights, concerts, and hair grease to record what he found to be a complex world. Embracing teens and twentysomethings from Mexican, Central American, and South American backgrounds, the Latino fan culture is a world away from Morrissey's UK following, though every bit as fanatical.   • Domingos en Arte: Son Como Son

    7:30 pm Son Como Son bills itself as "Salsa, Cuban Style." Founded in 1993, it is unquestionably one of Albuquerque's longest-standing and most popular salsa ensembles. They play regularly to packed audiences comprising highly animated and dedicated salseros at the NM Jazz Workshop's Salsa Under the Stars series; at the Cooperage; and at special concerts, such as those at the Telluride Jazz Festival.     5 pm to 6 pm Family and Friends Dance Class - On Tuesday nights in June and July, the National Hispanic Cultural Center is offering Latin American and Hispanic dance classes at 5 pm for families and friends. These classes will foster an intergenerational learning atmosphere. Bring your kids! Bring your grandparents! Bring your neighbors! Learning about the history and culture of the dances will be included. Some dances that may be taught include salsa, bachata, merengue, Mexican ballet folklorico, chachacha, casino, and more.
