Noche de Familia
NHCC Campus 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Join us at the Center for an evening of Halloween fun for the whole family! Our Noche de Familia will feature trick-or-treating, artmaking, music, and a free screening of Coco at 7:00 pm. The screening is on a first come first served seating. Please arrive early to guarantee a seat. Free family event. Register in advance below. This program generously supported by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico’s Healthy Kids, Healthy Families and Bank of America.
Día de Familia: Día de los Muertos

Decorate sugar skulls, craft a mini-ofrenda and marigolds, get your face painted, and contribute to our community ofrenda while you enjoy music and dance traditions of Día de los Muertos. Día de Familia y Comunidad: Fiesta de Barelas
NHCC Campus 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM11:00 am – 3:00 pm Join us for arts activities and music during a day that honors the Barelas community, one of Albuquerque’s oldest neighborhoods. Visitors will have a chance to make paper architecture, maracas, and weavings. Join Chuy Martinez and other flamenco performers for sing-along presentations featuring music from the John Donald Robb New Mexico music archives. Barelas neighborhood community organizations, such as Barelas Senior Center, Barelas Community Center, Working Classroom, Los Jardines and more, will be on hand to share information about their programs. Día de Familia: Tierra Hermosa
NHCC Campus 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM11:00 am–3:00 pm 3:00 to 4:30 pm: Screening of Boy & The World (Brazil, 2013) Celebrate Earth Day at the NHCC with art activities, music, film, and poetry for all! Take a stroll along the Bosque and honor our beautiful earth through the arts. Guests will explore bats with RD Wildlife and native seeds with the U.S. Forest Service.
