Colcha Community Stitch A-Long
Domenici Education Building 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM9:30 am (MST) on the 4th Tuesday of each month Our Colcha community Workshop is open to all levels of experience in an informal setting. This workshop is instructed by Annette Gutierrez-Turk. Annette has taught this art form to groups internationally and at the NHCC for many years. She is also an award-winning artist, most recently recognized in 2019 at Santa Fe Spanish Market. Annette will demonstrate as well as answer questions. Pláticas Para Cambio: Virtual Film Panel
Virtual5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Please join us for a virtual panel discussion with Hispanic, LatinX, Chicana & Indigenous filmmakers regarding representation in the film industry. A 2-hour dialog with leading cultural producers, academics & media artists explores how storytelling and representation shape our cultural identity, career opportunities, and societal perceptions. Arte para chiquitos
Domenici Education Building 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM10:00 - 10:45 am Our popular Early Childhood program is returning with a new name in 2024! Arte para chiquitos is a free, monthly, 45-minute program for babies and toddlers ages 0 months to 4 years and their caregivers that cultivates creativity and self-expression through the exploration of Hispanic/Latine arts and culture. Participants explore the NHCC Museum, Performing Arts Center, and engage in artmaking, music, movement, dance, drama, and bilingual story time. Festival Ballet Albuquerque: Billy the Kid & Other Tall Tales

The ballet has an ensemble of cowboys, townspeople, dance hall girls, and the important people in Billy’s life, including his beloved Mother, John Tunstall, J.J.
