DESCRIPTION:2 pm \nJoin us for a family-friendly tour of the NHCC Art Museum exhibition\, La Ultima Exhibición. All generations will gain new perspectives about art during this unique museum experience the led by María Dolores Gonzales who represents Ultima’s perspective. María Dolores Gonzales is an artist and writer and runs a Spanish language immersion program in Northern New Mexico. \nAdmission: $6 for adults (17+); $5 for New Mexico residents (17+); free for youth 16 and under. Price of admission gains access to the entire museum so come a little early or stay a little late to see everything!

SUMMARY:¡Salud y Sabor! Mexico & Chile and Corn/Chile y Maiz
DESCRIPTION:5:30 pm to 7:30 pm \nSalud y Sabor\, a partnership between the Agri-cultura Network\, Street Food Institute\, and the NHCC\, is a free evening of food\, art\, and entertainment aimed at providing families with an opportunity to connect around nutrition\, cooking\, healthy lifestyles\, and culture. \nOnce a month\, community members gather for cooking demonstrations using fresh\, locally grown ingredients\, as well as fun art activities for kids and adults\, health screenings\, and live entertainment. An emphasis is placed on exploring traditional Hispanic dishes\, providing basic information/free screenings from local Western and alternative health practitioners\, and creating a vibrant atmosphere with art activities and live music.
