Ballet Folklórico Santa Fe and the NHCC Present Traditions! Folklórico Dance Spectacular

Come early and enjoy a full night of music and dance! Traditions is a folkloric dance showcase featuring three New Mexico ensembles, including Ballet Folklórico Santa Fe, Albuquerque’s Grupo Folklórico Desoluna, and northern New Mexico’s Baile Ilusión, accompanied by Banda Neluayotl from Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico. Our morning begins with inspiration in the art museum, looking at design, materials and construction. Back in the education building we will create our own art piece to take home. 5th Annual South American Folk Fair

The festival will feature traditional food and folkloric dances from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Perú and Venezuela. Trío Los Andinos
Roy E. Disney Center for Performing Arts: Albuquerque Journal Theatre 1701 4th St SW, Albuquerque, NM7:30 pm Puerto Rican ensemble Trío Los Andinos, together with Mariachi Nuevo Sonido and pianist and violinist Mariano Morales, performs some of the most beloved compositions by Latin American composers. Much of Latin America’s romantic music has been written for, and traditionally performed by, trios, and the concert is designed to continue and preserve this tradition, as well as uniting the Americas through music.
