FIFA Women’s World Cup: USA v Vietnam

7:00 pm Doors open at 6:00 pm with food trucks and breweries on the NHCC Campus GAME 1 of the FIFA Women’s World Cup hosted at the National Hispanic Cultural Center begins! This is the ninth Women's World Cup, and it will be the biggest yet with 32 teams competing across 64 games. Come join us for the pregame festivities and kickoff. AMP Concerts: Los Gaiteros & Madalitso Band

7:30 pm AMP Concerts and the NHCC Present Los Gaiteros & Madalitso Band Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto was established in Colombia in the mid 1950s. In 1968, they performed at the Olympic Cultural Games in Mexico. Their touring, the exceptional quality of their musicians across generations, and the fact that they are one of the few gaita ensembles whose music has been commercially produced have made them the most important musical group of gaitas and Cumbia in Colombia and worldwide. 9:00 am Día de Salud, while focusing on overall health and well-being, also aims to celebrate and incorporate the influence of Hispanic culture and traditions. The event recognizes the unique health challenges and perspectives within the Hispanic community and seeks to provide culturally relevant information and resources. By infusing Hispanic influence into Día de Salud, the health fair can effectively reach and resonate with the Hispanic community, promoting a sense of cultural pride, awareness, and empowerment around health and well-being.
